Feng Shui

Qi rides the wind and spreads, but is kept at bay by waterGuo Pu, Classic of Burial

Feng Shui (which means Wind Water in Chinese) is another classical metaphysics system that studies the flow of Qi in our environment and how we can harness its beneficial properties to assist in our daily live. It probably is the most well known studies among the various studies.

Like many other Chinese Metaphysics tools, it comes from the concept of Yin and Yang in ancient China . In the Imperial days, the studies of Feng Shui were considered highly valuable and secretive so it was only passed down between masters and students. It was used primarily for burials (Yin) but has evolved since then to support other activities (Yang).

If Bazi is used as a diagnostic tool, Feng Shui can be use as the solution or mitigating tool.

Classical Feng Shui can’t make miracles. Rather, it can be use to amplify your potential and capacity which already exists in your Bazi. It can boost various aspects of your life, from health, wealth, career to relationships. We can do this by identifying the source of good Qi from the environmental land forms, tap into it and ensure it flows into your properties.

There are two main school of Classical Feng Shui – San He and San Yuan. San He system emphasize more on the external land forms like the mountains, lakes and rivers to find beneficial Qi. On the other hand, San Yuan system emphasize more on Qi movement formulas and quality within a property.
